BioRep. of David Meeks of Greenbrier is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 70, which includes part of Faulkner and Perry County.During the 89th General Assembly, Rep Meeks serves on the Judiciary Committee. Meeks serves as Chairperson on Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Miltary Affairs Committee. He also serves on the Arkansas Legislative Council. During the 88th General Assembly, Rep Meeks served on the Joint Performance Review Committee; the House Public Transportation Committee; and the House Aging, Children and Youth Committee. Rep. Meeks served in the military, where he earned the Army Achievement Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He is a member of the National Rifle Association and former area governor of Toastmasters International. He attended Greenbrier High School and Wolfson High School, and he earned a bachelor's degree in pastoral ministries from Trinity Baptist College. He attends Bible Baptist Church, where he is a Sunday school teacher.
