During the 89th General Assembly, Senator Stubblefield serves on the Arkansas Legislative Council, Senate Judiciary Committee, Legislative Joint Auditing, State Agencies and Governmental Affairs, Joint Energy Committee, Senate Children and Youth Committee, and the Arkansas State Game and Fish Commission Oversight Committee. The Senator is also a member of the Joint Energy Council.

A former state representative, he served his first term in the House of Representatives for District 67 during the 88th General Assembly. During his term, he served on the Arkansas Legislative Council as vice chairman of the Litigation Reports Oversight Subcommittee; House Public Transportation Committee as vice chair of the Subcommittee for Waterways and Aeronautics; Joint Energy Committee; and the House Committee for Aging, Children and Youth, and Legislative and Military Affairs.

Senator Stubblefield graduated from County Line High School in Branch, Arkansas, and attended the University of Arkansas, where he played football for the Razorbacks. His civic involvement includes serving on the Quorum Court, the local school board and the Farm Service Commission. He and his wife, Kathi, have one son and one daughter. Stubblefield has been a dairy farmer for over 30 years and is the owner of Valley View Farms in Branch.
