Tanya F. Miller is the founder and lead attorney of Miller Injury Trial Law, where she brings over two decades of experience as a trial lawyer, former federal prosecutor and judicial law clerk to her practice in civil and criminal litigation. Known for her commanding courtroom presence, sharp judgment and strategic skill, Tanya is a relentless advocate for the injured, the wrongfully accused and those seeking justice against powerful interests. She has been named to Super Lawyers every year since 2021 in recognition of her exceptional work and peer standing.

Tanya's legal journey began after earning her degrees from Case Western Reserve University, which honored her with induction into its School of Law Hall of Fame in 2022. Her career took shape at the national law firm Jones Day, followed by a federal clerkship with the Honorable Judge Solomon Oliver Jr. in the Northern District of Ohio. She went on to serve as an Assistant United States Attorney in New York, prosecuting federal crimes, before joining BakerHostetler as a white-collar defense attorney.

In Georgia, Tanya was appointed Chief Senior District Attorney in the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, where she made her mark as an undefeated homicide prosecutor and a tenacious advocate for victims of crimes against women and children. Her experience leading high-stakes criminal prosecutions solidified her reputation as a meticulous, passionate and fair trial attorney. In 2024, Tanya received the high honor of induction into the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Now in private practice, Tanya focuses on wrongful death, personal injury, complex criminal defense and civil rights litigation, including Section 1983 police brutality cases. She also serves as General Counsel to the Georgia Federation of Public Service Employees, reflecting her longtime commitment to workers' rights and her deep roots in union advocacy.

Tanya is also a nationally recognized legal analyst and commentator, having regularly appeared on MSNBC, CNN, Court TV, WSB-TV, Fox 5, CBS46 and 11Alive, among others. She gained national attention during the George Zimmerman trial, where her candid, insightful commentary earned widespread respect and demand for her legal expertise.

In January 2023, Tanya was sworn in as a State Representative in the Georgia General Assembly, representing House District 62. In November 2024, she was elected Democratic Caucus Chair by her colleagues. Whether advocating in courtrooms, the Capitol or the community, Tanya remains driven by a deep commitment to truth, justice and the people she serves.
