Bio

Rep. VanNatter was born and raised in western Howard County where he currently resides with his wife Felicia and their three children, Madison, Bella, and Cole. Heath is a graduate of Northwestern High School and has been a small business owner for the past thirteen years.

He was the past president of the Howard County Home Builders Association, of which he is a current board member. In addition, he currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Indiana Builders Association, The Board of Directors for National Association of Home Builders, and is a past member of the Howard County Plan Commission. He also serves on the Howard County Republican Party Steering Committee. Heath and his family are members of the Faith Church of Christ in Burlington, IN.

As a small business owner and local employer, Heath understands the struggles facing the economy and the fiscal responsibility that Indiana must adhere to. As a homebuilder, he realizes the need for safe and affordable housing. Housing that not only provides shelter, but also a platform for economic growth. Heath is devoted to playing an active role in economic development, working with all interested parties to bring new jobs and retain the ones that exist in District 38.

As a Representative of District 38, Rep. VanNatter serves Boone, Clinton, Hamilton, and Howard counties, which also include parts of Kokomo and Sheridan. For the 2011 legislative session, Rep. VanNatter serves as the vice-chair of the Utilities and Energy Committee, and a member of the Courts and Criminal Code Committee, Environmental Affairs Committee, and the Local Government Committee.
