Bio

State Representative Rose Mary Robinson is serving her first term representing Michigan’s 4th House District, which includes Hamtramck and portions of Detroit.

Robinson, a former attorney for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Union Council 25, was one of the first women ever elected to the Wayne County Commission in 1970. Before being elected to the Michigan House of Representatives, Robinson also served as a member of the Detroit Charter Revision Commission in 2009. Robinson holds a law degree from Wayne State Law School.

Robinson, a mother of six, lives in Detroit.
