Bio

Jim was raised in Washington County, the son of the Washington County auditor and a nurse. He is a long-time Town of Erin resident. He is a lifelong conservative and entrepreneur who co-founded Wisconsin Right Now, a leading conservative news site. WRN fights for conservative values and exposes false narratives in the liberal media. He has sat in as a host and is a regular guest on WISN-1130 AM, conservative talk radio. He is running as a Republican.

Jim believes in law and order over riots and disorder, education over indoctrination, parents' rights, the 2nd Amendment, accountability for criminals, lower taxes, and a business climate free of excessive regulation. He wants the border secured, police funded, and inflation brought under control.

Jim, 53, has nearly 20 years combined of law enforcement experience with Glendale (patrol sergeant) and Kewaskum Police Departments. He was a field training officer and crime scene investigator. He left policing to pursue real-estate investments, develop fitness clubs, and founded a real-estate brokerage.

His investigative reporting for Wisconsin Right Now on Gov. Evers' dangerous paroles spurred legislation that empowered victims and made the parole process more transparent. He helped break the story that liberal Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz was accused of using a racial slur and elder abuse. He covered the Kenosha riots and has developed a popular podcast.

Jim was a youth basketball and football coach in Hartford and in the Lake Country. He is an avid hunter, fisherman, and CCW permit holder.

Jim and his wife, Sue, raised their family of three children (Jenna, Luke, and Summer) and German Shepherd "Chief" in the Town of Erin, sending their kids to Erin School and Hartford Union High School.
