BioBarry Loudermilk, is a Republican representing Senate District 14. He represents portions of Bartow, Cherokee and Cobb counties. Sen. Loudermilk serves as Chair of the Science and Technology Committee and as Secretary of the Public Safety and the Veterans, Military and Homeland Se-curity Committees. He is also a member of the Transporta-tion Committee.Sen. Loudermilk first entered public service in 2001-2004, serving as Chairman to the Bartow County Republican Par-ty. He was elected to serve in the State House of Repre-sentatives in 2004-2010. Sen. Loudermilk was elected to the State Senate in 2010. In 2006, he was recognized as Georgia Wing Legislator of the Year and National Legislator of the Year by the Civil Air Patrol. His other awards and recognitions in public service include “Legislator of the Year” by Advocates for Children (2007), “50 Most Influential Georgians” by James Magazine (2008), “Sanctity of Life” award by Bartow Republican Women’s Club (2010), “Legislator of the Year “by Technology Association of Geor-gia (2011), and "Defender of Liberty" Award by American Conservative Union (2012). Sen. Loudermilk is a native of Riverdale, GA. He earned an Associate degree in Telecommunications Technology from the Community College of Air Force, and a Bachelor of Sci-ence in Occupational Education and Information Systems Technology from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX. Sen. Loudermilk proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1984-1992. Sen. Loudermilk is currently a business owner, a Protestant and a public and motivational speaker in American history, the Constitution and our Christian Heritage. Sen. Loudermilk is a member of the NRA, the Aircraft Own-ers and Pilots Association and the American Legion. He is also a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol, and is on the Board of Directors for Barley Loaf Min-istries and Firm Reliance. Sen.
