Bio

GENERAL ASSEMBLY State Senator since 2003. Previously served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1997 to 2003.

In the Senate, Righter serves as Republican Spokesman for the Senate Criminal Law Committee. Senator Righter also serves as a member of the Senate Executive, Assignments, Judiciary, Energy and the Appropriations I Committee.
