BioKevin Cotter was elected to the office of State Representative in November 2010 to represent the citizens of the 99th House district. The 99th district encompasses all of Isabella County, as well as ten townships in Midland County. Representative Kevin Cotter brings a broad array of experience to the House of Representatives, most recently serving as a partner at the Kerr Law Firm, PLLC in downtown Mt. Pleasant. Prior to that, Cotter worked in the transportation industry, working with two companies where his duties included supervising in-bound shipments, human resources management and overseeing safety operations. During his first term, Representative Cotter has consistently supported legislation that will help rebuild Michigan’s economy, eliminate bureaucratic red-tape and bring more fiscal responsibility and accountability to state government.
