Bio

Representative Sherri Gallick, a Republican, represents portions of Cass and Bates counties (District 62) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to her first two-year term in November 2022.

Prior to serving in the legislature, Gallick was an executive in the food industry where she has more than 30 years of experience in finance, sales, management, marketing, operations, strategic planning, and logistics. During her career, she worked for large corporations such as Jimmy Dean Foods and the Sara Lee Corporation, as well as smaller family-owned companies like Maple Leaf Farms. She has also spent time as a broker and an industry consultant.

Gallick gained valuable leadership as an elected commissioner and vice mayor while living out of state. She helped to establish an economic development corporation and served on the economic development board. Additionally, she has served as an interim director with an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and spent time as the communications chair for the Republican Women of Purpose.

Growing up in Independence, MO, Gallick is a graduate of Fort Osage High School. She received a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Missouri - Columbia and her MBA from Webster University, where she graduated with a distinguished honors award.

Gallick is a committed leader for nonprofits and community organizations. She coached Special Olympics and founded a Christian singles organization in the KC metropolitan area. She currently serves on the Cass County Board of Services for CASCO, a workshop for the developmentally disabled and she is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate for CASA, working with children placed in foster care. She is an active volunteer with Uplift Kitchen, providing meals for the homeless, and with her church, St. Sabina located in Belton.

As a proud graduate of the University of Missouri, Gallick has served as the President of two MIZZOU Alumni Association Chapters. She received the Mizzou Tiger Pride Award in 2007, served 15 years on the International Mizzou Alumni Association Board, five years on the executive board and as the President of the International MIZZOU Alumni Association in 2015-2016. Gallick also served on the board of the Griffiths Leadership Society for Women.

Gallick was born and reared in Missouri. While she and her family have lived in other parts of the country, Missouri has always been home. She and her husband, Randy, reside in Cass County. Randy is a regional sales director in the healthcare industry. They have two sons. One is a master trainer in the Army National Guard with two deployments to Iraq. The other is an attorney in Miami, Florida who clerked for a federal judge and was recently part of Leadership Miami.
