Appointed to Nebraska Legislature- Feb. 6, 2017, to replace Bill Kintner, who resigned; elected to Legislature 2018 Born Dec. 11, 1950, in Lincoln.

Education- Graduate of Elmwood Public School (valedictorian), 1969; University of Nebraska-Lincoln (B.S. in math, minors in actuarial science and economics, with honors), 1973.

Family- Married Peggy Sue Bogenreif, Dec. 24, 1972; five children- Andy, Tom, Mary, Sarah and Debbie; 12 grandchildren Occupation- Banker, insurance agent, tax preparer Former- Actuary Member- president, Bess Streeter Aldrich Foundation; board member, Victory Church; adjutant and bugler, Sons of the American Legion.

Former member- government relations board, Nebraska Bankers Association; trustee, Nebraska Bankers Association Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association; treasurer, Sigma Nu Fraternity Building Association.
