Biography - Elected to Nebraska Legislature- 2006; re-elected 2010. Born July 20, 1966, in Friend. Education- Graduate of Wilber-Clatonia High School, 1984; University of Nebraska-Lincoln (B.S. in business administration), 1989. Family- Two children- Tyler and Stephanie. Occupation- Resource development/marketing director. Former- Owner, Karpisek’s Meat Market; Wilber mayor (1994-2006). Member- Beatrice Rotary Club; Wilber Lions Club; Wilber Sportsman Club; Wilber-Clatonia Alumni Band; Wilber Area Community Foundation; Wilber United Methodist Church; Wilber Czech Cemetery Board. Former member- Nebraska Association of Meat Processors (president).
