BioParker Space has been an assemblyman since 2013.
He is a farmer and owner of Space Farms Zoo & Museum, an institution in northwest New Jersey since 1927. His family has farmed in Sussex County for eight generations.
Previously, he was a Sussex County freeholder from 2010 to 2013 and a Wantage Township committeeman from 2004 to 2009, serving as mayor for three years. He has been a volunteer firefighter since 1989 and was fire chief from 2001 to 2002.
Space resides in Wantage with his wife and three children.
