BioRep. Rachael Cabral-Guevara was born in Appleton and raised in the Air Force which gave her the opportunity to live across our country. She returned to attend college after high school and hasn't left Wisconsin since.
She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been a licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber since 2008. She has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner within a community health center, student health center, and urgent care clinic. Rep. Cabral-Guevara opened NPHS - Nurse Practitioner Health Services LLC in Appleton to provide affordable and convenient healthcare to her community.
She taught at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh within the College of Nursing and believes educating one nurse allows her to extend caring to thousands of patients she never comes in contact with who need nursing cares.
Her passion for travel and adventure stem from her family life in the Air Force. She loves hiking, visiting new places and learning new things. In the summer she enjoys providing medical care to migrant camps across the state. One item on her bucket list is obtaining a pilot's license allowing her to travel further in shorter amounts of time.
