Bio

From a young age, Keith Kelley has felt the call of public service and the responsibility to make the world a better place. The Anniston, Alabama, native has the carried foundational leadership skills he learned from the Jaycees and Future Farmers of America with him throughout his career. Kelley started his first business at 19-years-old. He has served as President of Harris-McKay Realty for over 26 years. During this time, Kelley became involved in the Calhoun County Association of Realtors. After serving locally in all positions available, he served as President of the Alabama Association of Realtors and on the National Association of Realtors board of directors. After the BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill in 2010, Kelley was instrumental in gaining positive results in negotiations with President Obama's representative for the spill, Mr. Kenneth Feinberg. Kelley's valuable experience and relationships helped to accomplish his goal of carving out a settlement for Alabama Realtors. Kelley has also held numerous leadership roles in other civic and charitable organizations.

A lifelong advocate for his community, Kelley is a political outsider with the ability to form relationships with politicians across the aisle. His experience as a small-business owner, along with his core conservative Christian values, would make him a successful State Senator for District 12. "I want to make sure that District 12 continues to have a strong voice in Montgomery and is represented with honesty and integrity. I learned the importance of serving others at an early age" says Kelley. "I have a true desire for public service. As a job creator and political outsider, I will provide the leadership that Northeast Alabama needs to ensure that our area grows and thrives."
