Bio

Rep. Rick Beck is serving his second term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 65 which includes portions of Conway County and Perry County.

For the 92nd General Assembly, Rep. Beck serves as House chairperson for the Joint Committee on Energy. He also serves on the House Education Committee and the House Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee. He is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and currently works as an electrical engineer at Kimberly-Clark in Maumelle. He has received a Scout Master Award of Merit for his work with the Boy Scouts of America. He is a member of the Conway County Arts Council and serves on the Advisory Board for Industrial Technologies for the University of Arkansas Community College Morrilton. He has also previously served with the Center Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and is a past board member of the Sacred Heart Catholic School. Rep. Beck and his wife Sheila have one son and one daughter and currently reside in Center Ridge.
