I am William Brisson, State Representative for the North Carolina House of Representatives, District 22, which now covers Bladen, Sampson, & Johnston Counties. I was born and raised in this District and it is my pleasure and honor to have served as your Representative since 2006.

Growing up in Dublin, NC (where I still live), I know the challenges that we face as a rural area. I am a full time farmer along with my brother, Nelson. Our parents taught us the value of hard work and living as Christians. I take those values with me to the floor of the NC House.

He is former Chair of the Bladen County Board of Commissioners, Chair of Bladen County Hospital Board of Trustees & Bladen Medical Center and Secretary & Treasurer of Bladen County Farm Bureau. He is an energetic leader who believes strongly in giving back to his community and is working hard for us in the N.C. Legislature. As a farmer, Brisson understands the challenges faced by small business owners, and he is ready to fight for working families of Bladen, Sampson, and Johnston counties.

William's wife of 50 years, Brenda, helps manage the couple's farming business and is actively involved in the North Carolina Farm Bureau and Dublin First Baptist Church, where the couple are members. The have a son, Alan, daughter-in-law, Angela, and are proud grandparents to twelve-year-old Autumn.
