Bio

In 1999, I started National Communications, Inc. (NCI) with one technician. Since then NCI has grown to become a regional company providing the installation and maintenance of all types of low voltage communications systems. I am actively involved in our community as a member of the Macon County Board of Commissioners, past member of the Southwestern Community College Board of Trustees, Vice President of the North Carolina Cattlemen's Association, and Macon County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. I am a member of First United Methodist Church. I am married to Janet Taylor Gillespie, who is also a Macon County native, and have one son, Logan.

I share this with you for two reasons. First is to let you know where I stand on some important issues. Second, I would like to ask you for your vote on November 3rd. I will bring the knowledge I have gained as a County Commissioner, as well as over thirty years of business experience and I commit to you that I will apply the same conservative principles to every item that comes before me as a member of the NC House, as I have in my business. Thank you for your consideration.
