Bio

During my life, I've experienced hardships and understand how families need affordable healthcare, good public schools for their children, job opportunities, and smart public policy to address our affordability crisis. As a mother of three turned public policy advocate, I know that meaningful change is possible. As a state lawmaker, I will be a problem solver, bringing new ideas and fresh approaches to the State Capitol.

Andrea Katz is a mother of three turned public policy advocate. She is the communications director of the Fair Funding Action Committee, a bipartisan grassroots group that advocates for increased school funding.

In recent years, the former Chesterfield Township school board member and committeewoman established herself as a powerful voice in local communities advocating for children with special needs, updates to the school funding formula, and increased behavioral and mental health services for children.

While serving as a committeewoman, she worked to implement the Chesterfield Township Parks and Recreation Master Plan. She was a member of the Chesterfield Township Alliance Against Substance Abuse.

Katz lives in Chesterfield Township with her husband, Jonathan, and three children, Nathan, Charlotte, and Molly. She volunteers with the Chesterfield PTA and the Chesterfield Public Education Fund. She studied fine arts at Bucks County Community College.
