BioTim Dore is a fourth generation Coloradan. He started working at the age of 14, sweeping the floors in a local school. Rep. Dore worked his way through high school and college, later becoming a bailiff in the Colorado court system.Rep. Dore’s experience and understanding of the criminal justice system prompted him to go to law school. He graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College Of Law and upon graduation worked as a law clerk for this Colorado high courts. His experience in law gave him an intimate understanding of the relationship between a society and its system of governance. For Rep. Dore, this unique perspective soon sparked a strong interest in public policy. After helping various conservative election campaigns across the country, Rep. Dore returned to Colorado to represent the Catholic Bishops in the state and national level. Most recently, Rep. Dore was the vice president of government relations at the Mountain West Credit United Association, representing small financial cooperatives which serve communities all over the Rocky Mountain region. Rep. Dore is an active member of his church and also serves his community as a volunteer firefighter.
