He is a 1982 Clemson University graduate and a graduate of the Missouri School of Auctioneering. He was the South Carolina Auctioneers Association's 2017 Grand Champion Auctioneer.

Randy is past President of the South Carolina Auctioneers Association. He is an active member of The Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors, the NAA and SCAA. Randy was the S.C. Young Farmers Association State President in 1996, and has been a member of the Chester Rotary Club since 1994. He has also served as President and Treasurer of the Rock Hill Sertoma Club.

Randy's professional career also includes working for the South Carolina National Bank and First Union National Bank as a trust officer and city executive.

As an accomplished professional benefit auctioneer, Randy has raised millions of dollars for worthy causes. As a former banker, he believes in placing moral value and integrity first in all dealings. This old fashioned, personal service touch is his best known attribute.

Randy and his wife Jeannie, a school psychologist and director of special services for Chester County schools for over 25 years, are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill. They have two college-age children and have been married 34 years.
