Bio

Trey grew up in Cedartown and was raised by Doyle and Laura Kelley, both educators. First elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2012, Trey has proven himself to be an effective conservative leader for his constituents both at home in House District 16 and at the State Capitol. Trey has consistently promoted his beliefs of limited government, lower taxes, and fighting to protect our values. Trey's track record includes the Heartbeat Bill, Constitutional Carry, Anti-Critical Race Theory, Parent's Bill of Rights, and the Largest Income Tax Cut in Georgia's History. A dedicated follower of Christ, Trey is a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Cedartown.
