Bio

Rep. Dillon is serving his first term as State Representative for House District 75, which covers the eastern half of Grand Rapids. Rep. Dillon’s priorities include-

Reforming state government to create a more efficient government and get the most out of our tax dollars. Protecting local jobs and creating more good-paying jobs by attracting emerging industries and making Michigan the best place in the nation to start and grow a business. Ensuring schools have the resources and support they need to provide all children with the top-notch education they deserve and need to compete for 21st century jobs. Prior to joining the Legislature, Dillon served as Kent County Commissioner. He voted against every tax increase and opposed increasing fees for basic services. He also demanded that local companies get preference for local government contracts because he believes our tax dollars should create jobs for our workers. The father of twin boys, Dillon is committed to building a stronger, more prosperous Michigan where our children can reach their full potential.
