Bio

Representative Denny Zent is serving in his first term. He lives in Angola with his wife, Wendy, of 42 years. Rep. Zent is the father of two children, Karen and David, and a grandfather of seven grandchildren.

He represents House District 51, which covers most of LaGrange and Steuben counties. Rep. Zent serves on the Veterans Affairs and Public Safety, Financial Institutions and Public Health Committees. As a legislator, his biggest priorities are jobs, education and taxpayer protection.

Rep. Zent has been a dentist for over 33 years. He is also a veteran of both the US Army and the US Air Force. Rep. Zent is active in the local community serving as a member of the American Legion, Angola Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of independent Business, Indiana Farm Bureau, the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Association.
