Bio

Joe Donnelly and his wife, Jill, live in Granger, Indiana where they raised their two children, Molly and Joe, Jr. Joe is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1977, J.D. 1981). Prior to running for public office, Joe owned a small business and practiced law. Joe served on the Indiana State Election Board (1988-1989) and on the school board, serving one term as president, for Mishawaka Marian High School (1997-2001). Joe was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006 and was reelected twice, representing Indiana's Second Congressional District for three terms. In 2012, Joe was elected to the U.S. Senate to represent the State of Indiana.
