BioEileen Filler-Corn is currently serving in her second term in the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 41st District. The 41st District, located in Fairfax County, includes parts of Burke, Fairfax, and West Springfield.For over 20 years, Eileen and her husband Bob have lived in Fairfax County along with their children, Jeremy (18) and Alana (16). Eileen has nearly two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors, working across party lines to make a difference in the lives of Virginians. In the House of Delegates, Eileen is proud to serve on the Transportation Committee as well as the Militia, Police and Public Safety Committee. In addition, she has been appointed to the Joint Commission on Transportation Accountability, and serves as co-chair and founding member of the bipartisan General Assembly Arts Caucus. She is currently the Director of Government Relations for Albers & Company, where she serves as a liaison to the National Governors’ Association, the National Conference of State Legislatures, the Council of State Governments, the Southern Governors’ Association and the National Association of State Chief Information Officers. Previously, Eileen served as Deputy Director of the Virginia Liaison Office for Governor Mark Warner, as a Senior Advisor to Governor Tim Kaine, advising on state and federal relations and chaired the National Governors’ Association Executive Committee Staff Advisory Council during Governor Warner’s term. Eileen is currently Chairman of the Board of Jobs for Virginia Graduates. This statewide program has the mission of identifying at-risk high school students and guiding them on a successful path toward continued education, a meaningful career and a productive adulthood. Her past service includes- Member of the Superintendent’s Community Advisory Council for Fairfax County Public Schools; the Jewish Community Relations Council; the Business and Community Advisory Council for Fairfax County Public Schools; Board member of Fairfax Futures; a member of the Governor’s Citizens Advisory Committee to the Chesapeake Executive Council; appointed member of Governor Warner’s Real ID Task Force and 1st Vice President of her children’s elementary school PTA.
