For the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Hobbs serves on the House Education Committee; the House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs; the Arkansas Legislative Council; and the Joint Performance Review.

For the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Hobbs served on the House Education Committee, where she chairs the Subcommittee on Early Education. She also served on the House State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee; the Joint Performance Review Committee; the Arkansas Legislative Council, and the Community Services Oversight and Planning Council.

For the 87th General Assembly, Rep. Hobbs served on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee. She was a member of the Joint Performance Review Committee and a first alternate on the Legislative Council.

Rep. Hobbs graduated from High School in Houston, Texas. She earned a bachelor's degree from University of the Ozarks, where she graduated cum laude, and a master's degree from the University of Arkansas. A former counselor and teacher, Rep. Hobbs has served on the Benton County Sunshine School Board, where she was secretary. She has been on the Church of the Nazarene District Advisory Board, the Drug-Free Rogers/Lowell Coalition, and the Benton County Meth Task Force. She previously served on the Benton County Quorum Court, and she is a recipient of the Church of the Nazarene Distinguished Service Award.

In her spare time, Rep. Hobbs enjoys reading, walking, and keeping up with current events. She and her husband, Ray, have a son and a daughter. They are members of the New Hope Church of the Nazarene.
