BioRepresentative Mark Hamilton was elected to his first term in the Georgia House of Representativesin 2006, and was re-elected to his 4th consecutive term beginning in January. He is Chairman of the Industry and Labor committee and also serves on the Appropriations, Governmental Affairs, Rules, Transportation, and Energy, Utilities, & Telecommunications committees. He is also Chairman of the Energy Sub-Committee, Chairman of the Jekyll Island – State Park Authority Oversight Committee, and serves on Governor Deal’s Digital Learning Task Force, the House Committee on Assignments, the House GOP Caucus Policy Committee, the House GOP Caucus Finance Committee, and the Joint Water Supply Committee. Mark was named one of the most influential Georgians by James Magazine in 2010 and 2011. Mark is the Founder, President & CEO of H & H Staffing Services, Inc., a staffing firm serving business throughout North Georgia, and AppliedWisdom LLC, an executive coaching and consulting firm with clients all over North America. Mark is also very active in his community where he currently serves as a member on the Lanier Technical College Board of Trustees. He is also a member and Past-Chairman of the Cumming- Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, a Past-President of the South Forsyth Rotary Club, a past member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Business Coalition, a past Chairman of the Forsyth County American Heart Association Walk, and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Cumming Care Center (now Whispering Hope). Mark is also a graduate and active alumnus of Leadership Forsyth. Mark, an Engineering Business graduate of Texas A & I University, is the proud father of three daughters, two grandsons and one granddaughter. He and his wife Sandy live in Forsyth County. The Hamiltons are active members of First Baptist Church of Cumming.
