Bio

Representative David Knight is currently serving his fourth term as a member of the Georgia

General Assembly. Knight is proudly serving parts of Spalding, Butts and Lamar Counties for

House District 130.

Originally hailing from Warner Robbins, the freshman representative attended both the

University of Georgia and Augusta College, earning a degree in Accounting. He is quite active in

his community. The devout Baptist is a member of the First Baptist Church of Griffin. He also

holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society

of Certified Public Accountants, the Griffin Rotary and the American Red Cross.

David is an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoys sporting clays as well as golf. Representative

Knight is happily married to the former Marie Harvey from Lamar County.
