She has recently received the Jarnett Wigington Service Award in Rockdale County for her dedication to service.

Representative Dickerson was chosen by The Speaker of the House to attend The Carl Vinson Leadership Institute at the University of Georgia- one of five Democrats chosen as a freshman. She also partnered with Rockdale Medical Center for the past 6 years, now Piedmont Rockdale, for a successful "Women's Wellness and Community Health Day" offering all medical services at no charge to the participants, including free mammograms and flu shots. Along with her many accomplishments, Rep. Dickerson has partnered with the law firm of Montlick & Associates, Children Without A Voice (a non-profit organization that assists children who have been bullied), and Atlanta Falcons Defensive player Grady Jarrett to host anti-bullying rallies at both Rockdale and Newton County High Schools.

Pam has resided in the district for the past 18 years, previously living in DeKalb County Georgia for 16 years. From an early age, she along with the kids in her native New Orleans neighborhood, were recruited into the political arena, often canvassing the neighborhoods during the political seasons which is why you'll hear her say, "Politics has been in my blood for a long time".

Pam is a product of the public school systems of New Orleans, Louisiana and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern University in New Orleans, where she was president of the Foreign Language Honor Society (Alpha Mu Gamma). She loves the languages, and French was her language of choice.

For the past 41 years, she has been employed by Delta Airlines. She has also owned a small business and her latest venture was certified by the Small Business Association.

Rep. Pam Dickerson considers her family and friends her greatest treasure and blessing.
