Bio

State Rep. Mark Waller is the current House Minority Leader, and represents House District 15, which encompasses portions of Northeastern Colorado Springs. Waller serves on the Judiciary; State, Veterans & Military Affairs Committees; and is a member of Legal Services.

Born in Macomb, Illinois, Waller received his undergraduate degree in political science from Southern Illinois University in 1992. He then studied at the University of North Dakota where he received his Masters Degree in space studies, followed by his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver, College of Law.

Waller formerly worked as the Deputy District Attorney for the 10th Judicial District in Pueblo, Colorado, and has a private practice in Colorado Springs.

Waller and his wife Jennifer live in Colorado Springs with their two children, Truman and Camille.
