During the 89th General Assembly, Rep. Perry serves on the Public Health, Welfare and Labor committee. He is on the State Agencies and Governmental Affairs committee. Rep. Perry also is apart of the Joint Budget Committee.

During the 88th General Assembly, Rep. Perry chaired the Legislative Facilities Committee. He also chaired the Arkansas Lottery Commission Legislative Oversight Committee and served on the House Public Health Committee; the House Committee for Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development, and the Joint Committee for Public Retirement and Social Security Programs.

For his first term, Rep. Perry was vice-chair of the Joint Committee for Public Retirement and Social Security Programs and served on the House Education Committee, and the House City, County and Local Affairs Committee.

Rep. Perry is a graduate of Little Rock Hall High School and earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Central Arkansas. He works in insurance and financial services. In his spare time, Rep. Perry enjoys water skiing, surfing, and hunting. He and his wife, Valerie, are Methodist. They have two sons and one daughter.
