BioRecently pegged as a “bright star in our State Party,” by the Republican Party of Texas and its chairman, Steve Munisteri, Pat Fallon is a proven conservative who has shown dedicated leadership within the GOP for over twenty years. As a member of the Texas Republican Party Chairman’s Circle (one of only fourteen members in the state), Pat has been recognized for his outstanding work for Texas and the GOP. He is committed to electing not just Republicans, but to electing conservative Republicans to public office. The son of public school teachers, Pat is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds a degree in Government and International Relations. While attending Notre Dame on an academic scholarship he played varsity football under legendary coach Lou Holtz and was a member of the 1988 national championship team, was a cadet in Air Force ROTC, worked in the school cafeteria, founded a T-shirt business that employed a dozen fellow students and was active in student government & local political races. Upon graduation Pat received an Officer’s commission as Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and served as an active duty officer for four years. During his service he was cited on numerous occasions by superiors and flag officers for superior performance and outstanding achievement. During his tenure serving in the Air Force, he was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal. After being honorably discharged from the military, Pat embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, founding the first of several companies. Despite having virtually no startup capital his business thrived, and through many entrepreneurial ventures and acquisitions, he is now the President and CEO of Virtus Apparel, which has a dozen locations across the country and employs nearly hundred Americans. In addition to his grassroots work for scores of conservative candidates & causes during the past two decades, in 2009, despite having three opponents, Pat avoided a runoff and was elected to an At-Large seat on the Frisco City Council with 57% of the vote. In the Denton County portion of Frisco (which comprises approximately 1/3 of the electorate in newly created HD 106) Pat was the choice of an impressive 65% of voters. In May of 2011, Pat was chosen by his peers to serve as Mayor Pro Tem on the Frisco City Council. Pat’s involved with numerous civic and political organizations in his community, and he’s a recognized and appreciated conservative leader in North Texas. Pat generously contributes to organizations like Dallas Baptist University, Frisco Family Services, and the Boys and Girls Club, to name a few. He’s a sought after speaker and very active in the GOP and also in conservative causes and campaigns. Pat and his family are members of Holy Cross Catholic Church in The Colony. Pat has called North Texas home for over 20 years and is happily married to his wife of seven years, Susan. They have two sons, Thomas (5) & Mac (2). Frisco is now home to over 122,000 residents, of which close to 50,000 now live in Denton County. To the credit of conservative resident and responsible government, Frisco is the fastest growing city of its size in America. As a candidate for the newly created House District 106, Pat is running as the proven conservative leader to represent Denton County, and conservatives all over Texas, in Texas Legislature in Austin.
