Dedicated to improving the lives of all New Yorkers by working diligently to encourage job growth, fiscal discipline and tax relief in New York State, Lalor’s experience in the private sector will be a valuable asset to his service in the New York State Assembly.
Lalor is the founder of KML Strategies, LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in providing business development and research services to companies that make innovative products to keep our troops and law enforcement officers safe.
Lalor’s devotion to others is evident in his many acts of community service. While in college, he was a teacher’s assistant helping severely handicapped children at Dutchess County BOCES in Salt Point. Lalor was a Social Studies teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes High School. He also ran the Boston and New York City Marathons to raise funds for a children’s hospital.

When Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast, motivated by the way the country rallied behind New York on 9/11, Lalor and two other Marines took it upon themselves to drive 1400 miles to the impacted area. For his efforts Lalor was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. The citation reads in part-
"Corporal Lalor conducted numerous rescue missions by land and water working from dawn until dusk. Corporal Lalor's initiative and selfless devotion to duty reflected great credit upon himself and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service."
