BioA dedicated community leader, State Representative Sue Errington has spent much of her life working to bring people together to get things done.Sue has a long record of public service on local boards and commissions and with local, state, and national organizations advancing women’s rights and good government. Recent community service includes the Muncie Action Plan (MAP) Steering Committee, Second Harvest Food Bank Board of Directors, the Red Tail Land Conservancy’s Munsee Woods Steering Committee, and the Ministerial Search Committee for her church, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Muncie. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for “A Better Way,” an organization that addresses domestic violence in our community. As a state senator from 2006 to 2010, Sue served on the Senate Health and Provider Services Committee, as well as the Education and Career Development Committee. She was also a leading proponent of green jobs and renewable energy development. Sue taught Spanish and later served 17 years as the Public Policy Director for Planned Parenthood of Indiana.
