Representative Cindy Ziemke knows that perseverance and dedication are needed to succeed in today's world. She grew up on her family's farm in Hamburg, Ind. and quickly learned hard work and the value of a dollar. She took these lessons and started her own small business, the Brau Haus restaurant in Oldenburg. Brau Haus serves a mixture of authentic German cuisine and American favorites. Aside from her restaurant being a successful business, it is also what makes Rep. Ziemke ready to serve her district well. She understands what it takes to create jobs, make payroll and deliver a quality product. Rep. Ziemke is a member of several organizations in her community including the Franklin County Way Board, the National Federation of Independent Businesses and the Batesville Chamber of Commerce. She also attends the Holy Family Catholic Church. Rep. Ziemke has two grown children and lives with her husband Tim in Batesville.
