BioKevin is serving his first term in the Iowa House. He replaced republican Carmine Boal after she retired from the seat. Kevin served thirty years as Director of Community Education for Ankeny Community Schools and continues as a part time consultant in reduced capacity. Kevin has served as President of the national and state of Iowa associations of Community Education. His local leadership record demonstrates diverse and meaningful commitments to his community. He has been elected a board officer of numerous agencies including Iowa Dollars for Scholars, Ankeny School District Foundation, Ankeny Substance Abuse Project, YMCA, United Way, Employee and Family Resources, and Ankeny Chamber of Commerce. Kevin is a lifelong Iowan and an alumnus of the University of Iowa. His wife, Linda, teaches Psychology at DMACC. Kevin and Linda have three grown children who are graduates of Ankeny High School, DMACC and Iowa State University.
