A chemistry teacher for 26 years, Kreg has helped educate Indiana's kids and teach them how to be successful adults. He has also helped them succeed as athletes as a head coach for the boys track team and as an assistant head coach for girls varsity basketball.

As a deacon at his local church, Rep. Battles has also helped Indiana's young people fulfill their spiritual needs through his work as a Sunday school teacher, as past chairman and member of the Christian Education Board, and as an active participant in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Kreg also served as a member of the Vincennes Parks and Recreation Board, helping plan for the future as his community strives to provide the best possible opportunities for its young people.
