BioDISTRICTState Representative was elected to a first term in the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2008, representing residents of Bruce, Shelby and Washington townships in Macomb County. PROFESSIONAL Lund owns a small business, Direct Mailers; teaches public finance part-time at Walsh College; and most recently served as a Macomb County commissioner. PAST PUBLIC OFFICES AND AFFILIATIONS Lund served as a Macomb County commissioner for eleven years before being elected state representative. EDUCATION Lund has a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Adrian College and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance from Wayne State University. PERSONAL Lund is married to Karen Potchynok-Lund and he has two daughters. PUBLIC SERVICE Lund was prompted to run for office because he didn't like the direction our state is headed, and felt his experience in public finance could help turn our economy around.
