Bio

A native of Western North Carolina, Roger West is a small businessman and owner of West Construction Inc. West is a Vietnam Veteran having served in a naval construction battalion from 1968 to 1971. Roger and his wife Judy have two adult daughters, Rachel and Megan. Roger is a member of Andrews United Methodist Church.

Roger West serves as Vice Chairman of the Wildlife Committee and is a leading member of the House Committees on Environment and Natural Resources; Federal Relations and Indian Affairs; Appropriations and Appropriations Subcommittee on Natural and Economic Resources; and the Judiciary I Committee. Roger has also been appointed by the Speaker of the House to Select Committees on Small Business and High Speed Internet Access in Rural and Urban Areas.
