BioA lifelong resident of the district, Kenny knows the people and issues concerning District 62. After graduating from Jackson High School, he attended ITI and LSU for Industrial Instrumentation and Design. He began his career at B&B Electromatic in Norwood 18 years ago. As Manager of Engineering Sales, he traveled throughout the country interacting with numerous state governments, port authorities and engineering companies. Since 1997, he has had a successful career as a business development executive in the petro chemical, oil and gas industry.He and Shondell Escher Havard have been married for 19 years and have two sons, Davis and Jack. Kenny is very involved in the community. He coached recreational baseball for over ten years. Kenny is a member of Rotary International, Lions Club, East Feliciana Chamber of Commerce and the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association. He is also an appointed member of the Zachary Taylor Parkway Commission and sits on the Easter Seals Foundation Regional Advisory Committee. Kenny and his family are members of Grace Episcopal Church in St. Francisville. He is the son of Don and Marie Havard of Jackson, LA.
