Bio

Barbara, her husband Joe, and their five children have lived in Crystal Lake since 1998. They are active members and volunteers at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Barbara was born and raised in Lake County. Barbara's dedication to public service began when she graduated from college, first as a teacher, and then as a Peace Corps volunteer. As a devoted mother, she spends many weekends and evenings at school and sporting events listening to the concerns and interests of parents. Because Barbara and her family have planted deep roots in the county, she has a vested interest in the community and is passionate about improving the quality of life and future of IL District 64.
