BioDelegate Ware was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina in a single parent home by his beloved mother, Mrs. Edna Ware Taylor. He graduated from North Carolina A & T University and received his law degreee from North Carolina Central School of Law. The founder and principal of the Law Office of Onzlee Ware, Delegate Ware has been called "one of Roanoke's most influential attorneys" by The... Roanoke Times.One of the most active members of the community, Delegate Ware has served on many boards, including Carilion Clinic, the Taubman Museum of Art, Goodwill Industries, Roanoke Area Ministries, Boy Scouts of America, and Opera Roanoke, and he donates his time to many organizations. He is the founder of the Juneteenth Freedom Day Foundation, Inc. and a member of the Roanoke City Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar Association, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the National Rifle Association, and Sigma Pi Phi/Beta Phi Boule. Delegate Ware served as Chair of the 6th District Democratic Committee from 1994-2000 and as the first Chair of the Democratic Party of Virginia from 1997-2005. Delegate Ware is the proud father of daughter Gabrielle ("Nikki") and grandfather of granddaughter Kierra.
