The training is for the purpose of evaluating school counselors using the Georgia School Counselor Evaluation Program (GSCEP).  GSCEP training is required for implementation of the Georgia School Counselor Evaluation Program, which includes use of two evaluation instruments (Georgia School Counselor Evaluation Instrument and Georgia School Counselor Duties and Responsibilities Instrument) for annual evaluation decisions and improvement of school counselor performance.

This course is open to administrators who will be evaluating school counselors. Participants will be required to pass a Proficiency assessment at the end of the course to be a certified evaluator.  

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your class registration, you must contact the Registrar, Jennifer Hale (jhale@okresa.org) PRIOR to the registration deadline. If you cancel after the registration deadline or do not show up for class you will be billed for the class.

Certificate of Completion Policy

In order to receive your Certificate of Completion you must complete the Professional Learning Survey that will be sent out after the course. You will have two (2) weeks after the survey is sent to complete it. If you do not complete the Professional Learning Survey in the timeframe you will not receive your Certificate of Completion.
