District and School leaders are invited to attend the Scholastic Literacy Summit. Presentations and work sessions, led by nationally known literacy leaders, will spotlight trends and ideas for leadership to support striving readers, innovative ideas for professional learning to build instructional effectiveness and teacher confidence, and embedding assessments for tracking student outcomes. Other topics will include involving families and engaging communities.

Pam Allyn, noted author of Every Child a Super Reader, is the keynote speaker.

Parking is available along the street near Waycross City Auditorium, 865 Pendleton Street, and in the parking lot behind the building.  

Please do not park in the BB&T bank parking lot. 

Lunch will be provided by Scholastic.
