The focus of this session will be:

Classroom Management
Upon completion of the Classroom Management component, participants will be able to work with the classroom teacher to improve behavior by:
- Establishing routines and procedures in the classroom
- Using PBIS and classroom management- Identifying and responding to escalation/de-escalation situations
- Incorporating a rewards & incentives program
- Using effective classroom instructional strategies to improve discipline

Technology (Part 2)
Upon completion of Part 2 of Technology Training for Pararofessionals, participants will:
-Use Tellagami and create a digital story describing one instructional tool that they have saved to their EdShelf (app, web 2.0 tool)
-Use QuiverVision and AR Flash Cards to create augmented reality projects for use in small group instruction
-Enhance a presentation using Snagit
-Explore Chrome add ins that support writing across the curriculum

If you choose PERSONAL PAY as your payment method, you must submit a money order or cashier's check to pay for this class prior to the first day of class.

Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received before the registration deadline. Withdrawals/Cancellations received after the registration deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be refundable.
