GLASS (Georgia Libraries for Accessible Statewide Services) provides FREE library services for Georgia residents who are unable to read standard print materials due to visual or physical impairment. The GLASS network of libraries is funded by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisision of the The Library Services and Technology Act.
GLASS Augusta currently provides outreach to Bryan, Bulloch, Burke, Candler, Coumbia, Emanuel, Evans, Glascock, Jefferson, Jenkins, Johnson, Laurens, Lincoln, McDuffie, Richmond, Screven, Taliaferro, Treutlen, Warren, Washington and Wilkes Counties. Their mission is to get talking books into the hands of every eligible Georgian. Program informaton and an opportunity to try the different resources will be provided ot all participants during this session.
