A MindSet Training Curriculum Instructor Certification workshop consists of four days. The successful Instructor candidate will have the capability, support, and materials necessary to certify others within their organization in all three sections of the curriculum for a period of one year. The following represents a typical agenda for the training. Restrictive intervention procedures should only be applied as a last resort and never for punishment or staff convenience. They are intended to be utilized by individuals who have successfully completed Part I and have learned to focus on the avoidance and prevention of crisis situations as the primary goal. We teach techniques designed to protect all individuals involved while avoiding the use of pressure points or joint locks. Instead, the use of leverage and body position will be more important. Safe practice guidelines for both the training environment and the application of the various techniques will be established and emphasized. A continuum checklist emphasizing the least restrictive alternative will shape participant judgment. Above all, the four guiding principles of Promoting choice and trust, Avoiding power struggles, Seeking pro-action vs. re-action, and a Setup for success.

Registration for courses must be received prior to the registration deadline. Your registration status will remain pending until we have received approval from your system Professional Learning Coordinator and registration fee. The registration fee must be submitted immediately. 

If you choose PERSONAL PAY as your payment method, you must submit a money order or cashier's check to pay for this class prior to the first day of class.

Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received before the registration deadline. Withdrawals/Cancellations received after the registration deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be refundable.
