This participant-driven professional learning
community will utilize a needs assessment for learning and coaching
sessions. Topics will be identified
throughout the year to address job-embedded practices and principles that are
pertinent to professionals working in instructional leadership roles to
support students with disabilities.
Cohort members will grow in self-awareness of strengths in coaching
practices related to the following concepts:
= Supporting and growing new teachers in the field of special education

resolution and relationship development

low-will or low-skill teachers
= Equipping
teachers and paraprofessionals in developing high engagement lessons

for students with dyslexia

in coaching teachers on how to provide Specially Designed Instruction,
Positive Behavior Supports, and Co-Teaching
