Course Description

Coast Plains RESA, Southwest Georgia RESA,

and Chattahoochee-Flint RESA

are joining together to host this one-day Gifted Conference. 

Come and join teachers, leaders, coaches, and counselors from across South Georgia as we take time to focus on Gifted Education.  Discover ways to increase creativity and problem-solving skills in your students, and learn how to raise the rigor in your classroom.  Explore project-based learning, robotics, math games, and the social and emotional needs of gifted students in this one-day conference. A general session will be followed by exciting breakout sessions addressing numerous topics related to gifted education.  Registration is limited to 200 participants.

Coastal Plains RESA makes every effort to provide high quality professional learning experiences at low cost to member school districts. It is the registrant's responsibility to email cancellation requests to the Registrar (odessavalentin@cpresa.org) or to call CPRESA (229-546-4094, ext. 110). School districts will be invoiced for no-shows and/or cancellations made less than two weeks prior to class.

***NOTICE***

Coastal Plains RESA reserves space in professional learning classes and workshops for employees of member districts. In the rare event when classes are full or overbooked, slots must be made available for employees of member systems. Priority of class availability is as follows:

  1. Certified personnel under contract with a member system or RESA
  2. Classified personnel of a member system or RESA
  3. Certified personnel under contract with a system that is a member of a RESA outside the CPRESA area
  4. Personnel of a state agency
  5. Presently unemployed persons from the CPRESA area seeking renewal of certificate
  6. Personnel employed by a system that is not a member of CPRESA, such as private schools or agencies
  7. Out-of-State personnel

 The fee displayed for the class is the fee for personnel in categories 1 and 2. Personnel in categories 3-7 are subject to an out-of-area fee, when applicable.
